2025 Annual Colorado Emergency Managers (COEM) Conference
The Annual Colorado Emergency Managers (COEM) Conference is the pinnacle event annually for the building relationships among our Colorado partners and staying up-to-date on emergency/disaster trends. This event provides a forum for COVOAD organizations to communicate and collaborate with other VOAD partners, as well as state/national disaster response non-profits, government agencies, and partners from the emergency management. The Colorado Office of Emergency Management (COEM) Conference is the pinnacle event annually for the building relationships among our Colorado partners and staying up-to-date on emergency/disaster trends. This event provides a forum for COVOAD organizations to communicate and collaborate with other VOAD partners, as well as state/national disaster response non-profits, government agencies, and partners from the emergency management community. The COEM Conference is held annually, where the Colorado emergency management community gathers to hear from engaging keynote speakers, attend workshops on a variety of topics, and participate in numerous networking opportunities that strengthen the capacity and capabilities of our state partners.

This is the new way for registering for a table for nonprofits this year. The table is $450 and covers tabling registration plus full registration for 2 people to attend the conference.

Colorado VOAD George Sullivan COEM Conference Scholarship
Colorado VOAD recognizes membership’s involvement in the annual COEM Conference is essential. It is mutually beneficial for our members and the emergency managers we interact with at the conference. COVOAD will award one individual with this annual scholarship annually. This scholarship is open to any volunteer or employee of a COVOAD member organization.
The scholarship will include the following, depending on the applicants needs and request:
2025 Full Conference Registration Fee
(Includes lunch each day of conference).
2025 Conference Hotel Costs
(Includes 3 nights lodging).
2025 CEMA Annual Membership Dues
(Upon request, as needed).
Application Submission Details:
To apply for this scholarship, please submit the online application form to the COVOAD Executive Committee.
Note – The awardee will be responsible to perform the following upon receiving the scholarship:
1) Register for the conference, make lodging arrangements, attend the conference, and share a
short presentation at the following COVOAD Membership Meeting on their experience.
2) The awardee will work with the COVOAD treasurer for assistance on all financial matters.
